The process to become a driving instructor in Western Australia is relatively straight forward and can be completed within a few months. The licensing authority is the 'Department of Transport' and you will need to meet the applicant conditions below:
- Possess a current Western Australian driver's licence
- Have a minimum of 3 continuous years experience driving the vehicle class you wish to teach
- Pass a medical
